Endroll Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and 2April ("we", "us") for your use of the Endroll app ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The service
Endroll is a diary for video games. You can rate games in half-star steps, write reviews, mark what you have finished or are playing, build lists, and follow other people. The game catalogue is supplied by IGDB. An account and an internet connection are required.
Your account
You need an account to use the app. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done through your account. Choose a username that is not misleading and does not impersonate someone else. You must be 13 or older to create an account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
What you publish is public
Endroll is a social app. Your username, profile, ratings, written reviews, and any list you mark as public are visible to other users. Private lists stay private, and your email address is never shown. Do not put anything in a review that you would not publish.
You keep ownership of what you write. By posting it you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute it inside the app so that the service can work. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already lawfully saved by others or retained in backups for a limited period.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on Endroll. You agree not to post, and not to use the app to distribute, content that:
- is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights, including copyright;
- harasses, threatens, bullies, or targets a person or group, or incites hatred or violence on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age;
- is sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexualises minors in any way;
- depicts or glorifies gratuitous violence or self-harm;
- is spam, advertising, a scam, or a link to malware;
- discloses another person's private information;
- impersonates another person, or misrepresents your affiliation with anyone.
Reporting. If you see content or behaviour that breaks these rules, email [email protected] with a link to or description of the content and the username involved. We review every report and act on those that are justified — normally within 24 hours — by removing the content, and by suspending or terminating the account behind it. We may remove content or suspend an account at our discretion where these rules are broken, without notice.
Free, with ads
The app is free and contains no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. It is funded by banner ads served by Google AdMob. Ad availability and content are outside our control. What ads mean for your data, and the choice you have about personalised ads, are described in our Privacy Policy.
Game information
Titles, cover art, descriptions, release dates, ratings, playtime estimates, and trailers come from IGDB and other third parties, and remain the property of their respective owners. We do not guarantee that this information is accurate, complete, or current. Trailers are played from YouTube under Google's terms. Community averages shown on a game's page reflect what Endroll users have entered and are not our assessment of a game.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app, and we may impose limits on use where it is necessary to protect the service.
Deleting your account
You may stop using the app at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, email [email protected] from the address on the account; we will delete it within 30 days. Deleting the app from your device alone does not delete your account, because your entries are stored on our servers.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms.
App Store terms
The app is distributed through the Apple App Store, and Apple's own terms apply to your download. Apple is not a party to these terms, has no obligation to provide support for the app, and is not responsible for the app or any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Acceptable use
Please do not reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app; access the service by automated means, scrape it, or create accounts in bulk; interfere with other users' accounts or content; generate fraudulent ad impressions; or redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app.
Intellectual property
The app, its name, design, and code remain our property and are protected by copyright. These terms grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the app; they do not transfer any ownership to you. Content posted by users belongs to those users.
Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for content posted by other users. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date on this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
