Color Flow Puzzle Privacy Policy
Color Flow Puzzle ("the app") is made by 2April ("we", "us"). It is a single-player colour-connecting puzzle game. This policy explains what the app processes, why, and the choices you have. In plain terms: there is no account, your progress stays on your device, we run no analytics, we never sell your data, and the only time the app contacts a third party is when you choose to watch a rewarded video ad.
Your game data stays on your device
Everything the game records about you — completed levels, stars, coins, hints, undos, lives, your chosen theme, your daily score, and whether you have seen the tutorial — is stored only on your device, in the app's local storage. It is not uploaded to us, not stored on our servers, and not shared with anyone. We operate no game servers and no user database.
The daily leaderboard is not other people
The names shown alongside yours in the daily ranking are generated by the app itself. They are not real players, and no part of the leaderboard is sent to or received from a server. Your own score is computed and stored on your device and resets locally each day.
Rewarded video ads
The app shows rewarded video ads through Google AdMob — for example to refill lives or to skip a level. An ad is requested only when you tap a "watch a video" button. The app shows no banners, no interstitials, and nothing that appears without your action; if you never tap one of those buttons, no ad is ever requested.
To serve an ad, Google may process your device's advertising identifier, coarse information about your device (such as model, operating system version, and language), your approximate region derived from your IP address, and whether the ad was shown or completed. We receive only aggregate counts of ads shown — never information about you.
Your choice about personalised ads
On first launch iOS shows you Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, asking whether we may use your device's advertising identifier to personalise ads. Your answer decides what happens next:
- If you decline (or ignore the prompt), we request non-personalised ads only. Ads are not selected from a profile about you, and no tracking takes place.
- If you allow it, Google may use the advertising identifier to select more relevant ads, which can involve linking your activity with data from other apps and websites — this is what Apple calls tracking.
Every reward, level, and feature works exactly the same either way; declining costs you nothing in the game. You can change your mind at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and turning it off there stops personalisation for future ads.
Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Business Data Responsibility & Privacy notice. You can limit ad personalisation on your device at any time via Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising and, on iOS, by leaving app tracking disabled.
No purchases with real money
The app contains no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. Everything in the in-game store is bought with coins you earn by playing, or unlocked by watching a rewarded ad. There is no payment flow, so we never see or process payment details.
Service providers
We share the minimum necessary with:
- Apple — delivers the app and, if you leave a review, handles it under Apple's own policies.
- Google AdMob — serves rewarded video ads when you request one. See Google's privacy notice.
There are no other third parties. The app contains no analytics, attribution, crash-reporting, or social SDKs.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, calendar, health data, or browsing history. We do not fingerprint your device, and we build no profile about you — we hold no advertising data of our own at all. There is no account to create and nothing to log in to.
Retention
Your progress stays on your device until you reset it in the app or delete the app. Deleting the app removes it permanently — because we never received a copy, we cannot restore it, and there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Your rights
Because your game data lives only on your device, you are always in control of it: you can erase all of it at any time from Settings → reset progress in the app, or by deleting the app. For the limited data processed by Google to serve an ad, the rights below apply.
- EU / UK (GDPR): the lawful basis for showing a rewarded ad is your request for it, together with our legitimate interest in funding a free game. Where ads are personalised, the lawful basis is your consent, given through the tracking prompt and withdrawable at any time in your device settings. We hold no name or contact details, so access, rectification, and erasure requests concerning ad data are exercised through Google and your device's advertising settings.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- Türkiye (KVKK): the data controller ("veri sorumlusu") is 2April. Your game data is processed only on your device; the limited advertising data is processed on the basis of your explicit request and our legitimate interest. You may exercise your rights under Article 11 by contacting us below.
Children
Color Flow Puzzle is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where the tracking prompt is declined or unavailable — which is the default — ad requests are non-personalised and no advertising profile is built.
International users
The app is available worldwide. The limited advertising data described above may be processed by Google on servers outside your country.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date on this page.
